Our Patriarch in Springhill, John William Spence.  With the youngest of their 6 sons, Uncle Ains.Our Matriarch in Springhill, Ann Almira Pettigrew Spence.  She called herself Elmira. (see Spence Pedigree Chart)

Murdock is the 5th son of our Matriarch & Patriarch, Elmira & John William Spence

John William and Elmira only had 1 daughter, Ellen.  This hard-to-read headstone has Ellen with her 2nd husband, George F. Rector, and their son, Aubrey Rector.

John W. & Elmira's 2nd son, Uncle Palmer and his wife Aunt Maggie.  I don't see their grave, but this is their son David Harold (Earl) Spence and his wife Violet Maud.

This is Uncle Palmer & Aunt Maggie's daughter Hazel Spence with her husband Richard Rector.  Richard is the son of Samuel and Annie Rector.

John & Elmira's 3rd son, Bill and his wife Phoebe (spelled wrong on the stone) ( Grampa & Grannie English), and their children Alvin and Aunt Helen/Lizzie (Helena's twin)

Phoebe & Bill's daughter Bertha May, who died of measles at age 9 months in 1901.

Howard is the son of Bill & Phoebe Spence (Grannie & Grampa English) and Helen is the daughter of John Findlay & Helen Spence (Grannie & Grampa Scotch) 

Ernest and Frances Louise are babies of Uncle Harmon & Aunt Mary - Harmon is Phoebe & Bill's son, and Mary is John Findlay & Helen's daughter

Here is Harmon & Mary's youngest son Bobby, who just died in 2010, with his wife Vivian Janette.
